A while ago, a gigantic ship arrived in Zeebrugge. It turned out to be the sister of the ship that has been stuck in the Suez Canal.
Because it was also a challenge for the port of Zeebrugge to bring this ship safely in, all necessary precautions were taken.
In addition, Submar was contacted to check whether the ship had touched the bottom when entering the port.
For us, this meant a dive of 18 metres deep, during which the diver examined the impressive propeller with a diameter of 10.3 metres.
Fortunately, everything was in order. That night, after loading and unloading of a few thousand containers, the ship could continue its journey at sea.
