We are excited to unveil our latest innovation: the state-of-the-art 4,000 bar pump, now the driving force behind our advanced abrasive water jet systems.

With this pump we will respond to the challenges in today’s decommissioning market. Our customers not only want perfect cuts, they also want them at high speed.

Once a floating crane pontoon has a jacket structure attached and leg cutting begins, there is no turning back. With each cutted leg, the stability of the jacket structure decreases and the floating crane takes over. After the final cut is realized, the jacket is lifted and removed. The rigging of the crane pontoon, cutting and lifting is performed in a favorable weather window. The faster the cutting is done, the shorter the time required and the greater the possibilities of completing the decommissioning. It’s just that challenging problem we want to provide a solution to.

According to the CEO of Hammelmann, we currently have the most powerful combination in the world.

We not only invested in high pressure but also in high flow rates. Our newest one delivers 4.000 bar and that at a flow rate of 35 liter/minute. According to the CEO of Hammelmann, we currently have the most powerful combination in the world.

To meet the highest offshore requirements we installed our pump in an offshore container carrying a DNV 2.7-1 and CSC certificate. The heavily isolated container allows the pump to be used from Antarctica to the Sahel. The insulation also guarantees a low noise level on deck.

Because water quality is not always sufficient and of the essence, a water storage and filter compartment was built in, equipped with a unique water quality monitoring and correction system.

As sustainability is a standard value at SUBMAR we chose to construct our pump out of as many stainless steel parts as possible.

Feel free to stop by, offshore or onshore to admire our latest. We have no secrets and will proudly show you around with a cup of coffee or tea.
